MANAMA: The Indian Community Relief Fund (ICRF) Bahrain hosted a monumental “Loyalty Pledge” signing event on Friday, June 19, 2026, at the Indian Club, Bahrain. The initiative was organized as a core highlight of the ICRF Workers Day (Summer Fest 2026) celebrations.
The gathering served to formally reaffirm the unwavering support, profound loyalty, and deep-rooted solidarity of the Indian community in Bahrain toward His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The landmark programme was officially inaugurated by ICRF Chairman Adv. V. K. Thomas. Demonstrating the strong collaborative ties between the expatriate community and local authorities, the event was attended by high-ranking officials including Mr. Fahad Abdulaziz Al Bin Ali (Director of Partnerships and Outreach at the Labour Market Regulatory Authority – LMRA), Mr. Husain Al Hussaini (Senior Occupational Safety Engineer at the Ministry of Labour), and Ms. Shaikha Almulla from the LMRA. They were joined by ICRF Executive Committee members, dedicated volunteers, well-wishers, and over 400 workers arriving from various labour camps across the Kingdom.
During the event, representatives of the Indian community expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the proactive, continuous measures undertaken by the Kingdom’s leadership and government to safeguard the security, stability, peace, and welfare of both citizens and residents alike.
By pinning their signatures to the Loyalty Pledge, members of the community visibly re-emphasized their respect and gratitude to the Kingdom of Bahrain, which has graciously served as a second home to hundreds of thousands of Indian expatriates for several decades.
ICRF Bahrain noted that the overwhelming success of the event beautifully mirrors the enduring bond of historical friendship, mutual respect, and social solidarity shared between the Indian diaspora and the Kingdom. The organization extended its sincere gratitude to the LMRA, the Ministry of Labour, the Indian Club, and all participating camps, volunteers, and workers who united to make this historic pledge truly meaningful.
