MANAMA: The official induction ceremony of the newly elected Executive Committee of the Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam (BKS) for the 2026-2028 term was held with great splendor at the Samajam’s Diamond Jubilee (DJ) Hall.
The Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain, H.E. Vinod K. Jacob, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Delivering his felicitation address, Ambassador Jacob lauded the initiatives of the Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam, stating that the society’s widespread socio-cultural activities have always been deeply exemplary and commendable.
Presiding over the grand ceremony, BKS President P.V. Radhakrishna Pillai emphasized that the unwavering support and active cooperation of its members remain the cornerstone of the society’s continued success and milestones. Earlier, BKS General Secretary Varghese Karakkal warmly welcomed the gathering of dignitaries, members, and well-wishers.




A key highlight of the evening was the official badge pinning ceremony, where Ambassador Jacob presented official portfolios to the newly elected Executive Committee members as well as the newly formed Ladies’ Wing Committee. In a gesture of gratitude, special mementos were also presented to the outgoing committee members for their dedicated service during the previous term.
Adding vibrancy to the milestone event, a spectacular cultural evening unfolded, featuring a captivating musical night led by renowned playback singers Pandalam Balan and Parvathy Menon, interspersed with colorful dance performances by local talents.
