MANAMA: The Pakistani Women’s Association (PWA) has proudly launched its annual Refreshment Drive once again this year, continuing a long-standing initiative dedicated to supporting outdoor workers during the scorching summer months.
As part of the campaign, PWA team members visited various locations and construction sites across the city to distribute insulated thermos bottles to laborers. The drive aims to ensure that workers have access to cold water and stay properly hydrated while executing their duties in the harsh seasonal heat.
Beyond providing immediate relief, the initiative heavily promotes environmental sustainability. By providing durable, reusable thermos flasks, the association encourages workers to move away from single-use plastic bottles, thereby reducing plastic waste.
Through this meaningful campaign, the Pakistani Women’s Association continues to prioritize the health and well-being of the community’s workforce while successfully raising awareness about eco-friendly and responsible practices.
