MANAMA: The Bahrain Centre Meeting of the Marthoma Youth Movement, under the Kottayam-Kochi Diocese of the Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church, was held at St. Paul’s Marthoma Parish in Salmaniya.
The meeting was chaired by Centre President Rev. Samuel Varghese, with Right Rev. Dr. Joseph Mar Ivanios Episcopa gracing the occasion as the chief guest. Centre Secretary Ebin Mathew Oommen delivered the welcome address. Vice Presidents Rev. Biju John, Rev. Aneesh Samuel John, and Siji Philip were also present at the event.
Over 150 youth members from both the Bahrain Marthoma Parish and St. Paul’s Marthoma Parish attended the session. An interactive dialogue and debate led by the Episcopa was conducted on various topical themes, engaging the youth in active discussion.
During the meeting, Bincy Joy was appointed as the new Joint Secretary of the Bahrain Centre. Centre Treasurer Sujin Philip rendered the vote of thanks to all participants.
