MANAMA: The Embassy of Nepal in Bahrain observed a solemn candlelight vigil on September 7 to honor the victims of the catastrophic Bhote Koshi flash floods. The memorial followed a community condolence gathering organized by the embassy on September 4, bringing together representatives from various Nepali community associations to pay tribute to those affected by the August 26 disaster in Nepal’s Rasuwa district.

Addressing the gatherings, Ambassador Tirtha Raj Wagle extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. He also expressed profound gratitude to Bahraini authorities, members of the diplomatic corps, local friends, and the expatriate Nepali community in the Kingdom for their outpouring of sympathy and solidarity during the crisis.
