MANAMA: The Sree Narayana Cultural Society (SNCS) Speakers’ Forum celebrated its milestone 175th session alongside the induction ceremony of its new executive committee for the year 2026–27 at the SNCS Silver Jubilee Hall in Salmaniya.
The event was presided over by SNCS Chairman Suneesh Suseelan, while Coordinator Biju Chandran delivered the welcome address. Poet, writer, and Malayalam language advocate Manoj Kalarickal inaugurated the gathering by lighting the traditional lamp.
Felicitation speeches were delivered by SNCS General Secretary Prakash K.P., PGF Speakers’ Forum President Shaiju Mathew, PGF Speakers’ Forum Chief Mentor and Journalist Pradeep Puravankara, KSCA (NSS) Vice President Anil Kumar U.K., and SNCS Speakers’ Forum President Viswanathan Bhaskaran.
As part of the cultural highlights, seven students under the guidance of dance teacher Shubha Ajith presented a stage performance based on ‘Shivaprasada Panchakam,’ a work composed by Shivalinga Swamikal upon the instructions of Sree Narayana Guru, followed by a musical performance. Former office bearers were also honored for their dedicated service to the forum.
New Executive Committee:
The newly inducted committee members include Viswanathan Bhaskaran (President), Jishnu Suresh (Vice President Education), Anita Sivarajan (Membership Secretary), Sandhya Biloj (Secretary), Raji Rajesh (Joint Secretary), Ajesh Pillai (Treasurer), Sajith Vellikulangara (Public Relations), Ajith Kannur (Sergeant-at-Arms), Jinan Raj (Deputy Sergeant-at-Arms), Sudha Sunil (Coordinator), and Biju Chandran (General Convenor). Prashanth K.K., Sabu Pala, Santhosh Cheruparambil, and Ajith Kumar C.K. assumed roles as Mentors.
Conducted on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month to promote public speaking and the Malayalam language, the session concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Program Convenor Ajith Kannur.
