MANAMA: The Greater Barishal Welfare Association, Bahrain, hosted the Captain’s Meet, Match Draw, and Trophy Unveiling Ceremony for the “Probashi Bangla Challenge Cup 2026” in Manama. The event was held in a festive atmosphere, drawing distinguished guests, team captains, players, organizers, and football enthusiasts from across the community.
Presided over by Sarwor Hossain, Secretary General of the Greater Barishal Welfare Association, Bahrain, the gathering celebrated camaraderie, unity, and sportsmanship.
The tournament will officially kick off with its opening match on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 10:00 PM at the Salmabad Gulf Air Ground. A total of 12 teams are set to compete in this year’s edition. Beyond the competition, the tournament aims to promote Bangladeshi football among expatriates in Bahrain while fostering brotherhood, friendship, and community harmony.
