Nepali Club Bahrain Marks 25th Anniversary

MANAMA, BAHRAIN — The Nepali Club Bahrain hosted a vibrant community programme on July 24, 2026, marking the silver jubilee of its establishment and celebrating the contributions of the Nepali diaspora in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The event was attended by His Excellency Ambassador Tirtha Raj Wagle alongside senior officials from the Embassy of Nepal.

A major highlight of the gathering was the joint official launch of the Club’s 25th-anniversary commemorative publication by Ambassador Wagle and Nepali Club Bahrain President Mr. Deepak Gurung. The commemorative volume documents the organization’s history and key activities over the past quarter-century, while providing practical resources aimed at fostering awareness across the community.

Addressing the audience, Ambassador Wagle commended the Nepali Club Bahrain for its dedicated efforts in unifying the community. He expressed his warm wishes for the organization’s ongoing initiatives, emphasizing the importance of its work in community engagement, labor awareness, and promoting the general welfare of Nepali nationals residing in Bahrain.

The event concluded with cultural performances showcasing Nepali heritage and a special ceremony recognizing prominent community members for their outstanding service and continued support to the Nepali diaspora.
