Kozhikode Native Repatriated from Bahrain After Medical Treatment

MANAMA: Zainath Cholakkal, an Indian national hailing from Kozhikode, Kerala, was safely repatriated to India following medical treatment at Salmaniya Medical Complex in Bahrain.

Facing financial and medical constraints that required her immediate return for continued healthcare, intervention was mobilized by the Pravasi Legal Cell (PLC) Bahrain Chapter in collaboration with the Kozhikode District Pravasi Forum.

Recognizing her situation, the Embassy of India in Bahrain provided a complimentary air ticket for her travel to Kochi. PLC expressed deep gratitude to the Embassy for its timely humanitarian assistance.

Sudheer Thirunilath, Global PRO and President of PLC Bahrain Chapter, coordinated with authorities to manage the arrangements, supported by Arun Prakash, General Secretary of the Kozhikode District Pravasi Forum.

Following her flight to Kochi, arrangements were made with NORKA to transport Zainath to Kozhikode via ambulance. PLC also acknowledged the support of Mr. Unni and his family, who accompanied her during the journey.

Additional assistance was provided by the management of Salmaniya Medical Complex, IndiGo Bahrain, airport ground staff, and community volunteer Mr. Riyas.
