MANAMA: As part of India’s 80th Independence Day celebrations, Blood Donors Kerala (BDK) Bahrain Chapter, in collaboration with KIMSHealth, organised awareness sessions on neurology and blood donation. The event, held at KIMS Hospital in Um Al Hassam, also marked the launch of exclusive KIMSHealth discount cards for BDK members.
Dr. Mishal, Administrator at KIMSHealth, handed over the discount cards to BDK Bahrain Chairman K. T. Salim and President Roji John, with the first card presented to Mini Mathew. KIMS representative Surya Narayanan detailed the services available across four KIMSHealth branches for cardholders.
The event featured an interactive session with KIMSHealth Neurologist Dr. Sarika Patil and an informative talk on blood donation by Salmaniya Blood Bank staff and BDK Executive Committee member Shihabudheen. Both speakers were presented with mementos by BDK leadership. BDK Acting General Secretary Sunil Manavalappil, Treasurer Jibin Joy, and other executive committee members coordinated the event.
