Bahrain Malayali Business Forum Concludes ‘Help & Drink 2026’ Summer Outreach Campaign

MANAMA: The Bahrain Malayali Business Forum (BMBF) has successfully concluded its annual summer welfare initiative, ‘Help & Drink 2026’, with a closing ceremony held at the Aluminium Care work site in Tubli. Capital Governorate official Yousif Yaqoob Lori attended as the chief guest, while Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) board member Bob Thacker officially inaugurated the final distribution drive.

Running for 12 consecutive years, the campaign provides relief to outdoor construction and industrial workers during the peak summer months. Beyond distributing drinking water, fruits, ice cream, energy drinks, and meals, the initiative offers on-site medical check-ups, medication, and health awareness sessions on heat-stress prevention in coordination with the Dar Al Shifa medical team.

BMBF General Secretary Basheer Ambalayi led the ceremony, joined by Charity Convener Subair Kannur, ‘One Bahrain Together’ representative Antony Paulose, along with key business leaders, community representatives, and BMBF officials.

Organizers expressed pride in having supported more than one million workers of diverse nationalities over the past 12 years and extended their deep gratitude to the Bahraini leadership and local authorities for their continued support.
