MANAMA: Pratham Hindi Toastmasters Club Bahrain celebrated Hindi Diwas alongside its landmark 100th meeting at the Alayam Media Centre in Janabiya, centered around the theme “Vichaar, Abhivyakti, Prabhav” (Thought, Expression, Impact).
The event saw enthusiastic participation from the local Hindi-speaking community, featuring creative presentations, musical performances, and original poetry recitations by club members. Renowned writer, humorous poet, and academician Dr. Ram Akela served as the guest highlight of the evening, entertaining the audience with sharp wit and poetry.

An interactive Hindi quiz and a raffle draw for a gold coin—sponsored by title sponsor LIC International—added to the evening’s highlights. The event was further supported by Knowledge Partner ICAI Bahrain Chapter, along with corporate sponsors Chandeliya International, Devji Group, and Satguru Travels.
Established in 2022 by Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) Anil Pachlangia, Pratham Hindi Toastmasters Club holds the distinction of being the first Hindi-speaking Toastmasters Club in District 20, which encompasses Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, Jordan, Russia, and Kazakhstan. The club was created to foster effective communication, public speaking, and leadership skills in the Hindi language among Indian expatriates.
Founder Member DTM Anil Pachlangia extended his gratitude to members, partners, and supporters for helping the club reach its 100-meeting milestone. The celebration was chaired by TM Neelam Sharma under the leadership of Club President TM Bharti Maheshwari, with TM Anjana Vijayvagiya presiding as the Master of Ceremonies.
