MANAMA: The ‘Venalthumbikal’ summer camp, organized by Bahrain Pratibha Balavedi to provide children with alternative education through entertainment and knowledge, concluded on a vibrant note. Prominent journalist Pradeep Puravankara inaugurated the grand finale, which was combined with India’s 80th Independence Day celebrations.
The ceremony was presided over by Pratibha President Mahesh K.V., with General Secretary Suresh V.K. delivering the welcome address and Camp Organizing Committee Convener and Central Committee Member Joshi Guruvayur proposing the vote of thanks. Camp Director and Balasangam state trainer P.T. Rahesh, Pratibha Chief Patron Binu Mannil, Vanitha Vedi Treasurer Harsha Babeesh, and Balavedi Secretary Amrutha Jayabhush offered greetings.

Organisers highlighted that the month-long camp successfully fostered scientific temperament, historical awareness, and secular values among the young participants. Cultural performances presented by the children during the closing ceremony were a key highlight of the event.
