MANAMA: To mark India’s 79th Independence Day and honor freedom fighter Thiru U. Muthuramalinga Thevar, Thevar Peravai Bahrain, in collaboration with Al Hilal Hospital, hosted a mega free medical camp.
The event was inaugurated by Sudheer Thirunilath, Global PRO and President of the Pravasi Legal Cell Bahrain Chapter. Social worker Sayed Haneef attended as the guest of honour. A dedicated team of doctors and medical staff from Al Hilal Hospital conducted health evaluations and consultations.
The camp was led by Thevar Peravai Bahrain President N. Thirumeni, General Secretary K. Shankar Raj, and Event Coordinator Suresh Kottoor. More than 250 individuals benefitted from free health check-ups and medical advice during the drive. The organisers expressed their gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the initiative.
