NRTIA Delegation Bids Farewell to Indian Ambassador Vinod K. Jacob

MANAMA, Bahrain – A delegation from the Non-Resident Tamil Indians Association (NRTIA), led by President Mohammed Hussain Malim, recently conducted a courtesy visit to the Indian Embassy in Bahrain to honor outgoing Indian Ambassador, His Excellency Vinod K. Jacob, as he concludes a successful tenure in the Kingdom.

During the meeting, which was attended by the association’s deputy organizers and deputy secretaries, the delegation extended their warmest congratulations and expressed deep gratitude for his outstanding contributions toward strengthening and supporting the Indian diaspora.

The representatives highly commended Ambassador Jacob for his exemplary accessibility and dedication to community welfare. They highlighted the profound impact of his monthly “Friday Open House” sessions and noted his unique ability to connect personally with individuals by communicating in their respective native languages. The group also expressed appreciation for his steady support of social and community organizations, his focus on empowering the diaspora through targeted awareness and guidance, and his crucial involvement in the Royal Pardon initiatives carried out in coordination with the Kingdom of Bahrain.

In addition to honoring the diplomat, the delegation expressed their heartfelt gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Government of Bahrain for their continued humanitarian support toward expatriate communities.
