MANAMA: The Embassy of India in Bahrain celebrated Hindi Diwas at its premises, highlighting the rich cultural heritage, diversity, and significance of the language. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from embassy officials and members of the Indian expatriate community.
The celebrations featured a vibrant array of cultural programs, including poetry recitations, theatrical performances, and traditional dances. As part of the observances, the Embassy also hosted a special online Hindi quiz competition for the diaspora in Bahrain, which drew overwhelming participation across the Kingdom.
Addressing the gathering in Hindi, Ambassador of India to Bahrain H.E. Vinod K. Jacob emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting India’s cultural and linguistic legacy. The Ambassador also distributed mementos and prizes to the participants and competition winners.
