Rajasthani diaspora celebrates Teej with cultural flair in Bahrain

MANAMA: The Women Executive Committee of Rajasthanis in Bahrain, in association with the Rajasthan Foundation Bahrain Chapter, hosted a vibrant Teej Festival at Tanatan, located in the Ramee Grand Hotel & Spa in Seef.

The celebration brought together women from the Rajasthani community and other expatriate groups across the Kingdom of Bahrain, turning the event into a lively showcase of culture, tradition, and sisterhood.

The gathering was attended by distinguished community members and guests, highlighting the diaspora’s commitment to preserving cultural heritage while strengthening inter-community ties in Bahrain.

Attendees were treated to an evening of Rajasthan’s traditional music, dynamic folk dances, and interactive games. Dressed in festive attire, participants engaged in various cultural segments throughout the evening.

The organizers also hosted a range of competitions, giving out raffle prizes, spot rewards, gift vouchers, and special awards for the best-dressed guests. The event concluded with an emphasis on community togetherness and cultural pride.
