ICRF Holds Tenth Week of ‘Thirst Quenchers 2026’ Summer Campaign in Galali

MANAMA: The Indian Community Welfare Forum (ICRF) conducted the tenth weekly distribution drive of its annual summer awareness initiative, ‘Thirst Quenchers 2026’, at a worksite in Galali on Saturday, August 22.

Organized in alignment with the Ministry of Labour’s summer safety directives, the initiative aims to provide relief to outdoor workers during high-temperature conditions. Approximately 350 workers were provided with drinking water, fruit juices, laban, and fresh fruits including apples, oranges, and bananas.

This year’s campaign is supported by the Ministry of Labour, the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), and the International Organization for Migration (IOM). The Bohra community, the ICAI Bahrain Chapter, and numerous independent volunteers continue to extend support to the effort.

ICRF Vice Chairman Pankaj Nallur and Thirst Quenchers Coordinator Chemban Jalal led the distribution alongside ICRF members and student volunteers.
