MANAMA: The Indian Community Relief Forum (ICRF) Bahrain conducted the ninth week of its annual summer relief project, ‘Thirst Quenchers 2026,’ at a work site in Riffa.

Organised in alignment with the Ministry of Labor’s summer work guidelines to ensure worker safety during extreme temperatures, the drive was supported by the Ministry of Labor, LMRA, and IOM. Around 150 workers received drinking water, juice, laban, and fresh fruits. Additionally, laddus and ice creams were distributed to mark India’s 80th Independence Day.

The initiative saw support from the Bohra community, independent volunteers, and the ICAI Bahrain Chapter. Key ICRF representatives present included Vice Chairman Pankaj Nallur, Advisor Aruldas Thomas, Joint Secretary Javad Pasha, and Thirst Quenchers Coordinator Chemban Jalal, alongside other members and student volunteers.
