As part of India’s 80th Independence Day celebrations and its corporate social responsibility initiatives, the Kozhikode District Pravasi Forum (KPF) Bahrain conducted a “Beat the Heat” campaign, distributing fruit kits to outdoor laborers working in the summer heat.
The initiative aimed to support the health and well-being of expatriate workers during the summer months by providing essential hydration and nutrition directly at their worksites.
The distribution drive was led by KPF General Secretary Arun Prakash, Patron K.T. Saleem, Charity Wing Convener Sajith Vellikulangara, Assistant Treasurer Sujeesh Madayi, Internal Auditor Hareesh P.K., Executive Member Anil Kumar, and social workers Shaheen Sha and Biju. KPF officials affirmed that the forum will continue to prioritize social welfare activities for the expatriate community.
