MANAMA: The Pathanamthitta District Pravasi Association, a prominent community organization of non-resident Keralites in Bahrain, successfully organized a voluntary blood donation drive in collaboration with the Salmaniya Blood Bank.
Driven by social responsibility and community welfare, the humanitarian initiative saw approximately 95 donors step forward to contribute.
The camp witnessed active participation from executive committee members, community leaders, and prominent local figures, including Rev. Fr. Samuel Varghese, Assistant Vicar of the Bahrain Mar Thoma Church, who also donated blood during the event.
Expressing gratitude at the conclusion of the drive, Event Convener Robin George extended heartfelt thanks to the medical team from Salmaniya Blood Bank, the volunteers, and all the donors for their selfless support. Association officials reaffirmed their commitment to organizing similar community welfare initiatives to support the Kingdom’s healthcare needs.
