MANAMA: Philippine Ambassador to Bahrain, H.E. Gines Jaime Ricardo D. Gallaga, paid an official visit to the Philippine School Bahrain (PSB) to mark the commencement of the 2026–2027 academic year.
Accompanied by Vice Consul Charlie Florian Prenicolas, Ambassador Gallaga met with the school administration, led by Principal Ms. Gydabelle Naval, to discuss the institution’s current academic developments, curriculum, student activities, and upcoming initiatives.
During the visit, Ambassador Gallaga presented the school with a collection of Philippine books donated by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) to enrich the school’s library and promote cultural heritage among students.
The Philippine Ambassador traditionally serves as an adviser to the PSB Board of Directors. School officials expressed their deep appreciation for the Embassy’s ongoing support and reiterated their enthusiasm for continued collaboration in fostering quality education and cultural engagement for the Filipino community in the Kingdom.
