MANAMA — His Excellency Sheikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA), received the Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency Mr. Vinod Kurian Jacob, to mark the conclusion of his diplomatic tenure in the Kingdom.
During the meeting, Sheikh Hisham welcomed the outgoing Ambassador and commended the long-standing, distinguished bilateral relations between Bahrain and India. He emphasized the continuous growth of these ties across various sectors and noted the importance of sustained joint coordination to serve the mutual interests of both nations.
The Undersecretary expressed his sincere appreciation to Ambassador Jacob for his dedicated efforts throughout his posting, particularly highlighting his role in strengthening fruitful cooperation between the NPRA and the Indian Embassy. Sheikh Hisham wished the Ambassador continued success in his future diplomatic endeavors.
For his part, Ambassador Jacob expressed his deep gratitude to the Undersecretary for the cooperation and support extended to him during his time in Bahrain. He expressed pride in the close historical relationship shared by the two countries and reaffirmed India’s ongoing commitment to deepening its partnership and collaboration with the Kingdom.
